What you'll do

Join this relaxed miniature painting workshop in Glasgow and create your own tiny oil or acrylic artwork to take home in a charming keepsake tin.

This class is built around the idea that slowing down and really looking can transform ordinary things into something quietly beautiful. You’ll paint simple subjects like a lemon, a cherry, a flower, or a small still life while learning how to observe, simplify, and translate what you see into paint.

Using museum-quality materials and step-by-step guidance, you’ll create a finished miniature artwork on a small gessoboard panel that fits inside a portable tin.

Whether you’re completely new to painting or already creative, this workshop is designed to feel calm, welcoming, and enjoyable.

During the workshop you will:

  • Paint a miniature artwork on a museum-quality gessoboard panel
  • Learn simple observation and painting techniques
  • Explore colour, shape, light, and composition in a relaxed way
  • Take home your finished painting in a keepsake tin that doubles as a display piece

With a maximum of four people, you’ll receive plenty of individual guidance throughout the session.
