Morning Ritual with Unused Floss
Painting 005 from The 1000 Paintings Project
Original oil painting on archival, museum-grade Ampersand Gessobord, presented in a portable mint tin containing the palette used to create the work.
A tiny original painting of everyday toiletries: toothbrush, floss, red soap and an unapologetically loved turquoise blue. Part of my ongoing 1,000 Tiny Paintings series, where ordinary objects are painted with unnecessary seriousness.
This painting is part of The 1000 Paintings Project, an ongoing series exploring observation, repetition, memory, and the emotional residue of ordinary moments.
The tin functions as easel, protective carry case, and display object, carrying traces of the painting process itself through the remaining colour palette.
